Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you use Apsidae, we collect only the information you provide directly:

• Organizers: Email address (for magic link authentication)
• Participants: First name, last name, mobile phone number, and optional context label
• Payment data: Processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store credit card numbers

2. How We Use Your Information

• To display participant names and context labels on the group roster
• To generate downloadable vCard (.vcf) contact files for paying users
• To authenticate organizers via magic link emails
• To process payments through Stripe

3. Who Can See Your Data

• Your name and context label are visible to other participants who have also contributed their information
• Your phone number is only included in vCard downloads by users who have paid, and to the group organizer
• Your email (organizers only) is never displayed publicly

4. Data Retention

Group data is retained for 12 months from the group creation date. After this period, all associated member data, including names and phone numbers, is automatically purged. Organizers may archive or delete their groups at any time.

5. Your Rights — Remove Yourself

You can remove yourself from any group roster at any time by visiting the group page and clicking the "Remove Me" link. This permanently deletes your name, phone number, and context label from that group. Future vCard downloads will no longer include your information.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: a session token to identify you as a registered participant in a group, and Supabase authentication cookies for organizers. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use PostHog for anonymous product analytics.
